
Annual Fixed-Fee Service covering letting income
Our annual fixed-fee taxation service has served UK forces personnel, HMG staff and UK expats for 30 years. Ideal for those (whether based in the UK or overseas) with UK letting income, it includes all of the following :

A survey of your letting, and of your personal situation to ensure that residual income is minimised (or losses are maximised),
including advice to ensure claims have maximum impact on your tax liability :
- admissibility of various types of expenses, and the benefits of long term planning.
- presentation of claims such as travel, self (or additional) management, and furnishing.
- varying the income proportion between a married couple.
- If resident outside the UK - Advice on the Non Resident Landlord Scheme and assistance with completion of Inland Revenue claim form NRL1.
- Before the end of the Financial Year - The preparation of an estimate of the tax liability, or extent of the loss.
- At the end of the Financial Year - The preparation of a detailed statement of the letting income and expenditure, and comprehensive instructions for you to complete the Land and Property section of your Tax Return (including instructions for your spouse's Return at no extra cost). Also advice on the new system of restriction of mortgage interest; calculation of unallowed residential finance costs and any extra tax allowance as a result; and the disadvantages of claiming the Property Income Allowance.
- As an additional free service - Detailed instructions, including appropriate tips to minimise general tax liability, for you to complete the remainder of the standard Return including Employment and Non Resident pages.
The annual cost of our comprehensive service covering one property is a flat fee of 125 UK pounds. This is not subject to VAT and there are no extras. We are Inland Revenue registered and our fees are tax deductible in full against the letting income. This fee is paid in 2 parts - on initial registration as a client, and the balance after you receive the final Tax Return instructions. This is an annual service - no extra charge is made for advice (by email) on any queries that may arise on the taxation of your letting income at any time throughout the year.
